Anupam Aishwarya: I got into Supply Chain and Forecasting in 2010, got hooked and have stayed in the field ever since. This blog is a medium to articulate these learnings, to discuss with fellow enthusiasts, and to inspire and get inspired in return. I love many things about this domain: - The complexity - good forecasting is simple, yet sophisticated, combining art and science with the business knowledge of planners. - The sheer diversity in terms of products, channels and organizational dynamics. - The challenge thrown by our VUCA world – it’s only going to increase. - Perhaps most of all - the high stakes involved in running today's global supply chains, not just for consumers and organizations themselves, but also for the planet and the generations to come.
